Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

This was paul's admonition to the church, a church in the middle of conflicting ideologies and belief systems, so conflicting that there were times when finding the truth was difficult. Sound familiar?
Pursue love, but make sure you can also prophesy, and when you do, do it with love.
